THE CANDIDATE OF ALL PROGRESSIVE CONGRESS FOR HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES MUSHIN FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY 1.
In dealing with this highly prolific issue such as a brief profile of Hon. Adeyemi Alli, an excursion must be taken into his antecedent.
The greater than live image of Hon. Adeyemi Alli has really been elevated to the highest pedigree considering the unquantifiable amount of lives impacted and numbers of achievements recorded while he was in office as the executive chairman of odi-olowo ojuwoye LCDA, lagos state.

BACKGROUND
Aremo Adeyemi Alli was born and brought up in Odi – olowo/ ojuwoye / olorunsogo area of mushin Federal Constituency 1, Lagos state.
He attended Ojuwoye catholic Primary School Odi – Olowo Mushin and Arch Bishop Aggey Memorial Secondary School, Ilasamaja Mushin for his elementary and post – elementary education respectively.
He had his National diploma and Higher Diploma Certificates from Nigeria College of Administration Ishasi, Badagry. Simultaneously he bagged a professional certification from Chartered Institute of Administration as an Associate Member (ACIA).
Upon completion of his post – graduate degree programme from Olabisi Onabanjo University, he proceeded to Ladoke Akinola University of Technology, Ogbomosho for an Executive Master Programme in Business Administration,(MBA) and Specialized in Financial Management.
Before his foray into partisan politics, he had a stint at defunct National Bank of Nigeria, as a Supervisor, Word ‘A’ bond Finance and Securities Nigeria Limited as Deputy Manager and World Gate Building Society Limited as Branch Manager.
Politically, Yemi Alli was brought up among the progressive folk. He grew under the tutelage of his late father, Hon. Abdulfatai Alli a two term Member of Lagos State House of Assembly under the platform of defunct Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), between 1979 to 1983. After the demise of his father, he continues to grow his political ideology under the watch of Oba Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat a political colleague of his late father and former commissioner for transportation during the Jakande Administration.
In a build up towards his political career as a young and vibrant Politician, he became the general Secretary of Mushin Local Government Justice Forum, a strong Political Pressure group in Lagos State..
He was a foundation member of defunct Social Democratic Party (SDP), and a founding member of Democratic Party of Nigeria (DPN) Mushin Local Government Chapter.
He was elected an Honourable Councillor representing ward B2 under the platform of Alliance for Democracy (AD), consequently, he became the leader of Mushibn Local Government Legislative arm between 1999 to 2003.
In his vision to bring good governance more closer to the people, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Hon. Adeyemi Alli as pioneer Executive Secretary of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area in 2003. Because of his in-depth understanding of grassroot governance and public administration, subsequently, he was elected as the first Executive Chairman of the Local Council Development Area in 2004. He retained the status quo till 2014.
Hon. Yemi Alli is a man of admirable social character. He has some time for social activities amidst his demanding itinerary; A founding member of Amity Pathfinder of Nigeria, Financial member of Ajina Elite club of Nigeria, an associate member of Royal Friends of Remo and Remo Renaissance group. He is a friend of White House club of Nigeria and Fadaka club of Lagos.
RECORD OF ACHIEVEMENTS
Having demonstrated an irrevocable commitment to good governance, Hon. Yemi Alli’s laudable achievements have not gone unnoticed. He has received several awards in recognition of his tremendous contributions to the development of odi-olowo/ojuwoye local council development Area by extension Mushin Federal Constituency 1.
Some of the awards includes:
NTA 2 Channel 5 Award, (Best Chairman in Infrastructural Development and Poverty Alleviation in Nigeria) 2010.
Pan African Partnership Organization Award ,(Best Chairman on youth empowerment and community development).
Nigerian Police Force Award, (Outstanding Council chairman on security supportive excellence).
Nigerian union of local government employee (NULGE) award. Best employer, Local Government Level)
The Association of Nigerian theatre Art and Practitioner (ANTP) Mushin chapter Award: (Outstanding service Award).
Rotary club of Nigeria Award: (Community Development meritorious service Award).

His track record as executive chairman of LCDA set him further apart from his opponents. As a chairman, he left an indelible mark in all facets of life and economy. He rendered selfless services to the people.

YEMI ALLI ON SOCIAL WELFARE PROGRAMMES
It is a known fact that he was the first Local Government Chairman in Nigeria to initiate “feeding the elders programme”, wherein his administration paid over one thousand (1000) elderly people #5000 per head as a monthly allowance to ease the economy pressure on them between 2008 to 2014.
He initiated “ Wealth Enhancement Scheme” under that programme, Thirty (30) Tricycles, Forty (40) Grinding Machines, Fifty (50) Sewing Machines, Forty (40) Generators, Twenty-Five (25) Hair Dryers, Twenty (20) Barbing Tools, Twenty (20) Deep Freezers etc were often distributed to empower people especially women and youth.
Over hundred(100) students from Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA in various higher institution of learning benefitted #25,000 each as bursary from Hon. Adeyemi Alli at a regular interval.
Many religion faithful benefitted from his annual pilgrimage sponsorship.
More than two hundred people including youth and women were employed by the local government during his administration.
Under his watch eight(8) buses were procured for ‘MOBILE CLINIC’ programme to facilitate Health care services within the LCDA.
First Local government Chairman to construct Information Communication Technology ( I.C.T) center in public primary school (St, Martins pry school) in 2008.
Members of staff were regularly sponsored for training, seminars and workshops that could enhance productivity and efficiency during the course of their service. Furthermore, brand new vehicles were purchased for the comfort and conveniences for carrier officers and public office holders to promote effectiveness.

YEMI ALLI ON INFRASTRUCTURE
There were verifiable facts that The government of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA under Hon. Yemi Alli invested heavily on infrastructures to rapidly transformed the Area. Almost all 479 streets within Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye LCDA benefitted from over 400 bore-holes project constructed by Hon. Adeyemi Alli’s administration.
Roads, culverts and More than 100 drainages were constructed by his administration.
Among those projects were:
Abiodun street (Drainage, Road with walk-way), Alhaji Lasisi street (Drainage), Ajisegiri street (Drainage), Ilupeju road (Drainage on both side), Church street (Drainage & Road), Arolahun street (Road & Drainage), Idera street (Drainage & Road with walk-way), Ibadan street (Road), Tinubu close (Road), Ogunji/Araba street (Drainage), Fafolu/Kumuyi street (Drainage & Road with walk-way) and many other streets.

AYANTUGA PRIMARY HEALTH CENTER re-constructed and fully equipped into Ultra-Modern Primary Health Center.

Former Ilupeju administrative area office was reconstructed to a modern council secretariat complex.

MISSION 2019 – 2023
Germane to sterling performance as executive chairman, he also has track record of caring for his people.
In view of these facts, Hon. Adeyemi Alli called on you all to support him in his bid to represent you with fresh ideas and determination to make difference in the lower legislative chamber (HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES) of the National Assembly by God’s grace, because barely twelve years down the line, Mushin Federal Constituency 1 is without any qualitative Representation at the green Chamber of the National Assembly.

By the grace of Almighty God, If elected, he intends to sponsor or support bills that would improve welfare, good governance and equal opportunity for all in line with the manifesto of the party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Next Level agenda.
Aside the legislative functions at National Assembly, Hon. Adeyemi Alli also intends to connect his constituency with the federal government programmes, such as NATIONAL SOCIAL INVESTMENT PROGRAMMES and other national programs ”. There would be a regular feedback mechanism platform between his office and constituents.

Furthermore, he intends to introduce many initiatives to support his fellow constituents. These initiatives would cut-across the different strata of the society.
